Muharram Mourning Ceremonies Begin at Imam Khomeini Husseiniyeh
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Mourning ceremonies marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) in the lunar Hijri month of Muharram began at the Imam Khomeini Husseiniyeh (religious center) in Tehran on Saturday night.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei and other officials of the Islamic Republic attend the mourning ceremonies along with thousands of people.
