New Zarih Unveiled at Ali ibn Mahziar Shrine in Ahvaz
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A new Zarih (outer sarcophagus enclosure of a holy shrine) was recently installed in the mausoleum of Ali ibn Mahziar Ahvazi, a prominent 9th century Shia scholar, in Ahvaz southwest Iran.
Ali ibn Mahziar was an early and prominent Shia Faqih (religious jurisprudent), narrator and scholar. He was a companion of the ninth, tenth, and eleventh Shia Imams.
