Makkah to Host Muslim Countries’ Conference on Religious Affairs
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 11th edition of Muslim world countries’ conference on endowments and religious affairs will be organized in the holy city of Makkah.
According to albawaba.com, the ministers of endowments and Islamic affairs from various Muslim countries will gather in the holy city for the conference on May 13.
Zeyd bin Ali Dakkan, secretary general of the program, announced that many Muslim world issues particularly the necessity for moderation and avoiding extremism will be discussed at the conference.
The participants in the program will also investigate how to improve the role of youths and imams of mosques in society and increase cooperation among the endowment ministries in the Muslim world, he added.
The conference will be held with the participation of representatives from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
