In a statement, the ministry said the national Mus’haf, known as Shanqit, which was published in 2012 has no typos or content errors.
It described Shanqit as an accomplishment for the people of Mauritania, noting that it has been widely distributed in the country and abroad.
More copies of the Mus’haf will be published in the near future without any change in it, the ministry added.
It went on to accuse those who spread rumors about existence of errors in the Mus’haf of pursuing political objectives.
