TEHRAN (IQNA) – We read the Quran with the belief of spiritual element, but what we fail to realize is the fact that when we recite the Quran, we find absolute peace of mind, heart and body.

We have all filled our lives with so many activities that we find it hard to give ourselves some quality time, let alone give time to our family. We have jobs to do, meetings to attend, parties and social gatherings to accomplish. All these errands leave very little time for personal space and that wears out our mind and body.

Even your electronics needs to charge everyday, then imagine how important it is for the human body to charge everyday. And sleep alone is not enough because honestly, how many of us are getting the golden sleep when you wake up in the morning feeling absolutely fresh?

This is where Quran comes in. Quran is not just a holy book of guidance to religion. But Quran is the answer to everything. It is not a book, rather it is a lifestyle.

A strange, yet wonderful wave of energy seems to pass through our body and when we get up after having read the Quran, we feel fresh and alive.

The recitation of Quran is hence the medication we all require to heal our mind and heart.

How to Recite The Quran?

Step One: Make a habit of reading the Quran every day. Even if you do not have the time to read one whole page, read one line. Yes, just one line.

Step Two: Let go of all other worldly thoughts and focus on the words you are reading. Read each word out loud and clearly.

Step Three: Read the translation of the line/lines who have just read. That is all you need to do.

You can recite Quran at any time of the day or whenever you find time. Whether you do this once, twice or multiple times is your own choice. But remember, the more sugar you put in a desert, the sweeter it gets.

“Establish worship at the going down of the sun until the dark of night, and (the recital of) the Quran at dawn. Lo! (the recital of) the Quran at dawn is ever witnessed.” (Al-Isra, Chapter: 17, Verse: 78)

The results will definitely amaze you. You will not only feel spiritually higher, but you will feel lighter, happier and relaxed. As you keep on reading the Quran every day, your health will get better. This is because when your heart and body are relaxed, your health starts to improve.

If you are one of those people who find it hard to get a good night sleep or you feel like you haven’t slept at all, even after sleeping long hours, then do this little trick:

Every night before going to bed, perform wudu (ablution), open Quran and recite it out loud. Let those words sink in. Then go to bed and fall asleep while reciting any of your favorite tasbeeh. You will wake up feeling fresh and alive.
