Karbala Ahead of Ashura
TEHRAN (IQNA) – According to Hadiths from the Infallible Imams (AS), Karbala is one of the holiest places on Earth.
All over the year, especially during the month of Muharram, millions of Shia pilgrims go to the city to visit the mausoleums of Imam Hussein (AS), Hazrat Abbas (AS) and other martyrs of the 680 AD Battle of Karbala.
