Iran’s 15th Ceremonial Quran Recitations Festival: Winners Awarded
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The closing ceremony of Iran’s 15th Ceremonial Quran Recitations Festival was held at Tehran’s Milad Tower on Friday evening.
Winners of different sections were awarded at the ceremony, which was attended by Quranic, religious and cultural figures.
They were selected by popular vote, organizers said, noting that a total of 2.7 million people voted for their favorite Qaris.
Mojtaba Qadbeigi, Mohammad Javad Javeri and Seyed Mohammad Kermani came first to third in the adults Tarteel recitation category.
In Tahqiq recitation, the top winner was Amin Abdi, followed by Saeed Abdi, Hossein Shalchi and Seyed Jassem Mousavi.
Mohammad Saeed Alamkhah and Mohammad Amin Kohan were voted the best Qaris in the teenage section.
The winners were awarded cash prizes as well as certificates of honor.
