Axis of Resistance Commanders to Meet in Damascus

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A meeting of senior commanders from the countries forming the axis of resistance is reportedly planned to be held in Damascus.

 

According to Lebanese media, the meeting will be held in the next few days with the participation of resistance commanders from Syria, Iran, Iraq and Lebanon, Sputnik reported.

It comes amid a new military exercise launched by the Zionist regime.

Sources say the meeting will discuss the developments in the region, especially in Syria and Lebanon.

The participants will also mull formation of an integrated operation room in the region.

The Israeli military started early on Sunday what it claimed was its “largest” exercise, saying the drills would last about a month and the participants would practice combat and emergency scenarios in all fields.

The regime added that the drills involved both regular and reserve forces from the entire military commands and forces.
