The Saudi pavilion in the book fair has put the copies on the show, Al-Bashayir Egyptian daily reported.
Visitors can see renderings of the Quran into a range of languages from English, Russian, French, and Urdu to Uyghur and African languages such as Somali, Swahili and Fulani.
Representative of Egypt’s Islamic affairs ministry Ibrahim Al-Tamimi who visited the pavilion said the ministry has made a lot of efforts to serve the Quran and introduce new translations of the Holy Book every year.
He said translation of the Quran and Seerah of the Holy prophet (PBUH) is aimed at fostering the teachings of the Holy Book and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the world.
The 45th edition of Cairo International Book Fair kicked off in Nasr district of Egypt’s capital city on January 22 and will be running until February 6.
