Int’l Halal Food Exhibition Opens in China

The 8th international halal food and Islamic products exhibition in Shanghai, China, opened on May 15.

According to Jadid Al-Yawm website, the four-day exhibition also presents specialized technologies and equipment of food industry.

Organized on a 30000 square-meter site, the exhibition is expected to beat the recod in the number of participants and the presented productions.

Some 1000 representatives from China, Arab countries, Malaysia, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, etc. have participated at this year’s exhibition.

Forums on economic and trade cooperation between Shanghai and other countries through the Silk Road have also been planned among the programs of the international event.

The international exhibition plays an important role in boosting trade cooperation between China and Islamic countries.
