Nat’l Quran Competition for Visually-impaired to Be Held in Tehran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The national stage of the Quran contest for Iran’s visually-impaired will be held in the capital city later this month.

It will be held on February 25-6, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory.
The Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, Tehran’s District 3 Municipality and the Special Education Organization (SEO) will jointly hold the Quranic event.
The participants will compete in the categories of memorization (4 levels) and recitation of the Quran.
76 individuals have made it to the final stage after winning the top ranks in the preliminary round, which was held in January in different provinces of the country.
