Quran Memorization Course for Hearing-Impaired Underway in Oman

TEHRAN (IQNA) - The Ma’adh bin Jabal Quran Memorization School in Oman has organized a Quran memorization course for students with hearing disabilities.


According to omandaily website, the Quranic course has been held in cooperation with the Foundation of the Hearing-Impaired in Al-Buraimi Governorate of Oman and members of the foundation have taken the course.

The classes are held two days a week with the aim of getting the students acquainted with Quranic teachings and principles, the greatness of the Holy Quran and get them closer to the Divine Book.

The students are also taught Islamic injunctions and learn about Islamic culture and Seerah of the Divine apostles.

The opening ceremony of the course held with the presence of Rashid bin Ahmad Al-Shamisi, representative of Al-Buraimi province in the Parliament of Oman.

Addressing the ceremony, he stressed the important role of the society in supporting Quran memorization centers and encouraging the youth, as well as the significant influence of Quranic schools in training a generation of Quran memorizers.

The participants in the course, teachers, supervisors and organizers of the course were honored by the representative at the end of the program.
