TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Dar-ol-Quran Karim and Sunna Center in Gaza held a ceremony on Thursday to honor 100 visually-impaired and hearing-impaired Quran learners.

Addressing the ceremony, head of the center Abdul Rahman Al-Jamal praised the Quran learners for their strong will and devotion, Safa news agency reported.
He called on the students’ families to help their children in learning the Quran.
Al-Jamal further said the doors of the Dar-ol-Quran Karim and Sunna Center of Gaza is open to all of those who want to learn the Quran by heart.
Elsewhere in the ceremony, the top students of the center received awards and certificates of honor.
Quranic activities are common in Gaza despite difficult conditions in the coastal enclave due to the brutal blockade of the Gaza Strip by the Zionist regime since 2007.
The siege has had a disastrous impact on the humanitarian and economic situation in the impoverished enclave, having turned the territory into the world’s largest open-air prison.
