Larijani Underlines Iran’s Opposition to Disintegration of Iraq
"We absolutely disagree with disintegration of Iraq, just as do all the sources of emulation (Maraji) in Iraq,” he said in a meeting on Saturday with Secretary General of Iraq’s Nujaba Islamic resistance movement Sheikh Akram Al-Ka'bi.
"We support you wholeheartedly for you are the true sons of Imam Khomeini and true Islam,” he added.
Larijani further referred to Saudi Arabia’s negative role in the region, noting, however, that the Riyadh regime’s plots have all failed.
He said Saudi Arabia has been attacking Yemen for a year and a half but has had had no success in its aggression.
Secretary General of Iraq’s Nujaba Islamic resistance movement is in Iran for talks with senior officials on regional issues.
In addition to meetings, he is also scheduled to participate in a press conference and four live TV shows.
Nujaba is an Iraqi Islamic resistance movement thousands of whose members are involved in the campaign against terrorist groups like Daesh (ISIL or ISIS).
