TEHRAN (IQNA) – A child with autism surprised everyone with his beautiful recitation of the Quran during a Tawasheeh (religious singing) competition in Egypt.

Ahmed Alaeddin Abdul Hamid Habsa recited verses from Surah al-Isra in the competition, al-Fajr website reported.

Everyone in the audience was amazed at his mastery over Tajweed principles and his beautiful voice.

The Twasheeh competition was held in Gharbia Governorate north of Egypt earlier this week.

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder disability that affects how a person communicates with and relates to other people, and how they experience the world around them.

Autism is characterized by impaired social interaction, verbal and non-verbal communication, and restricted and repetitive behavior.
