Turkish Academic Lauds Attraction of Razavi Library

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Turkish professor hailed the library of Imam Reza (AS) Holy Shrine in Mashhad for attracting the region’s dominant culture.

 

Central Library of Imam Reza holy shrine has been successful in attracting the dominant culture in the Middle East, says, Prof. Hüsnü Kapu, president of Turkey’s Kafkas University, adding that the library is of special attraction for most people of the region.

Referring to the great combination of pure Islamic architecture with the world’s latest technologies at the Central Library of Imam Reza holy shrine as one of the precious features of the center, Dr. Kapu said: “This feature can be found in a cultural center with a history of at least one thousand years”.

He also said: “Holy city of Mashhad and Imam Reza holy shrine constitute a minimized world with all artistic attractions and Islamic culture”.

Emphasizing the need for introducing the Central Library of Imam Reza holy shrine to other world countries, he said: “Such an act will pave the way for Iran’s cultural ties with other nations. I recommend all Muslims and non-Muslims to visit this cultural center”.

As another member of the Turkish group, Seyyed Ali Akbar Ashik, head of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) Association of Turkey’s Kars city, said: “The Central Library of Imam Reza holy shrine is an honor for the Shia world and being present in this place is a great pleasure for every visitor”.

A group of professors and faculty heads of Kafkas University accompanied Prof. Hüsnü Kapu in this visit.
