Training Session Planned for Imams, Islamic Education Teachers in France

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), plans to hold a training session for imams, counselors and Islamic education teachers in France.


 The training session will be organized in Saint-Etienne, France, in cooperation with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of the State of Kuwait, and in coordination with the Moroccan Cultural and Social Center, according to ISESCO website.



Slated for 30 May- 2 June 2014, it aims to develop teaching methods and enhance the role of education in shared human values.

The workshop will benefit 25 imams, counselors and Islamic education teachers who will be trained in communication skills and modern methods in education in order to strengthen their role in the education of children of Muslim communities in the values of dialogue and cultural diversity through the Islamic education textbook.

The session will also seek to foster communication between concerned and interested parties and encourage exchange of expertise and experiences.
