Israeli Court Sentences 2 Palestinians to Jail for Holding Quran Classes

An Israeli court has sentenced two Palestinians to 20 years in prison for holding Quranic classes in al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to Amjad Abu Asab, director of Al-Quds detainees and prisoners families committee, Sulh Rami Zakaria Ibrahim Birka, 39, and Heitham Ragheb Muhammad Jaba, 32, have been arrested by the Zionist regime forces lately.
The occupying regime of Israel has imposed various restrictions on Palestinians in the holy city of Quds, including frequent bans on entering al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Zionist forces have time and again attacked Palestinians inside the mosque, desecrating its sanctity.
Last year, the Zionist forces stormed a session of Quran recitation in al-Aqsa Mosque where a Zionist soldier stepped on a copy of the Holy Book.
