Iranian Envoy Underlines Using Muslim World Capacities to Counter Islamophobia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan stressed the need for tapping into the capacities of Muslim world countries to counter Islamophobia in the world.

In a video message released ahead of the 48th meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s foreign ministers, Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini said effective use of these capacities would enhance the joint capabilities to confront Islamophobes and those spreading hate against Muslims.

He also said unity among Muslim countries and the justice-seeking motivation among them can play a major role in determining the Islamic world’s high objectives.

Hosseini added that the upcoming OIC ministerial meeting would be a good opportunity for tackling the Muslim world issues.

The 48th meeting of OIC member states’ foreign ministers is planned to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan, on March 22-23.
