Quranic Circle Held at Abdul Azim Hassani Shrine in Commemoration of Martyr Soleimani
A number of top qaris, including Hadi Movahed Amin and Habib Sedaqat recited verses from the Holy Book at the Quranic circle. It was broadcast live on Iran’s Quran Radio.
There was also Tawasheeh (religious singing) performances by Mihrab Tawasheeh and Choral Recitation Group.
Lt. General Soleimani, who was the commander of the IRGC Quds Force, Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Deputy Commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and a number of their entourage were assassinated in a strike by American drones near Baghdad International Airport in the early hours of January 3, 2020.
Various programs have been held in Iran, Iraq and a number of other countries in recent days to mark the martyrdom anniversary of the great commanders.
They include an international conference on the school of Martyr Soleimani that kicked off in Tehran on Wednesday and will conclude on Thursday afternoon.
