IQNA – One of the great outcomes of the Islamic Revolution of Iran has been the creation of resistance movements in the region, a Yemeni analyst said.

Yusuf al-Haziri, a political analyst in Yemen

In video a message on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Revolution’s victory, Yusuf al-Haziri, a political analyst in Yemen, stressed that the Islamic Revolution has played a major role in the development of resistance and confrontation with the oppressors in the contemporary era.

Noting that all messengers of God led revolutions for the people of their time, he said the Islamic Revolution was a little manifestation of what divine prophets brought throughout history.

Al-Haziri said the revolution bore fruits in various fields including freedom, honor, and independence.

One of those fruits was the creation of the axis of the resistance in the Arab and Islamic region, he stated.

The resistance, created for different reasons, including the Zionist regime’s presence in sacred Islamic lands and its occupation of Palestine since 1948, has had special objectives and many positive outcomes, he stressed.

The Islamic Revolution moved toward creation of resistance movements based on what Islam has ordered, he went on to say.

The Yemeni analyst urged that the Islamic Revolution, its goals, its directions and its accomplishments should be introduced to the younger generation.

The youths, who may be under the influence of the apparent outcomes of secularism and imperialism, should know what conditions their parents and grandparents lived in and what achievements the revolution has had, he added.

He also referred to the ongoing Israeli crimes in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip, and lauded the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist regime.

Every year, millions of Iranians across the country observe ten days of celebrations marking the anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution that put an end to the monarchy of the US-backed Pahlavi regime in the country.

The day of Imam Khomeini’s return to Iran (February 1 this year) marks the beginning of the Ten Day Fajr (Ten Days of Dawn), which culminates with rallies on the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution on February 11.

The Iranian nation toppled the US-backed Pahlavi regime 45 years ago, ending the 2,500 years of monarchic rule in the country.

The Islamic Revolution spearheaded by the late Imam Khomeini established a new political system based on Islamic values and democracy.
