IQNA – The Technical Committee of the International Holy Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran has set up a ‘Guide’s Desk’ to enhance the skills of the contenders.

Iran's 40th International Quran Competition

Two renowned Iranian Quran experts, Seyed Abbas Anjam and Mu’taz Aqaei are there to help the contestants and provide them with guidance on technical issues in Quran recitation, memorization and Tarteel.

Also, after performing in the competition, the Quran memorizers and reciters can refer to the two Quran maters and seek advice on the weaknesses and strength of their performance.

The initiative has no precedence in other international Quranic events and has been introduced for the first time.

The final round of Iran’s 40th International Quran Competition got underway in Tehran on Thursday with the motto of “One Book, One Ummah, Book of Resistance”.
