Why Student Movement Frightens US Gov’t, Zionist Lobby

The pro-Palestine US campus movement has seen a ripple effect in many countries, with students condemning the Israeli regime’s genocidal war and calling for an end to support for Israel.
Since Israel waged a brutal offensive on Gaza on Oct. 7, nearly 34,400 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and over 77,400 injured amid mass destruction and severe shortages of necessities.
Israel is accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice. An interim ruling in January ordered Tel Aviv to stop genocidal acts and take measures to guarantee that humanitarian assistance is provided to civilians in Gaza.

The student movement is something one would expect from the younger generation that seeks the truth, but what was unexpected was the US police’s violent crackdown on the peaceful protests by students and academics (against US support for Israeli crimes in Gaza).
Currently, an unprecedented student movement has been formed in universities across the US in support of Palestine that also involves professors and faculty members.
The volcanic anger of students has spread to such prestigious universities as Colombia, Yale, MIT, Harvard, Stanford, New York, and others, as well as universities in other countries like France and Australia.
The movement has frightened the US government and the Zionist lobby in Washington as well as the Israeli regime.
Some Republican members of Congress have cited anti-semitism as an excuse to crackdown on the movement and the police has violently oppressed the protesters in several universities.
The question is why they are so afraid of this pro-Palestine student movement.
Like in other countries, university students in the US are an elite and intellectual segment of the society whose voice is heard in elections. That is why the Zionist lobby has for years tried to narrate the story of the Israeli-Palestine conflict in such a way that the students would consider Israel the oppressed one.
The 7-month genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, however, has shattered this image and revealed the truth about the Israeli regime’s brutality and atrocities against Palestinians.

The US and its allies are also afraid that this movement would spread to other Western countries and create a revolution among the elite and younger generation against the Tel Aviv regime.
The youth in the US are seeing with their own eyes what is happening in Gaza, the atrocities, the killing of innocent women and children, etc, and they no longer can be deceived by the lies and propaganda of the Zionist lobby and American officials.
